Blooms Candy and Soda Pop Shop, Carrollton, Texas

Candy, soda shop fizzes with flavor

By Meredith Chapple

The door squeaks open. A customer opens up a fridge in the back of the shop and grabs a cold, glass bottle of root beer. They walk up to the front, past the collectible Star Wars toys and novelty candy, and pay for the soda at the cash register.

People walk around the shop, poking and picking at various candies on the wall, seeing what they like and what looks tasty.
