This project was incredibly involved, and one that Rosebud Designs saw through from redesign to development to conclusion. Imagery International is a non-profit organization geared toward those who practice guided imagery in therapy and healthcare-related fields. The aim of this project was to redesign the organization’s website to not only give it a simpler, more refined look, but also to make it easier to navigate and update. Imagery International also wanted to be able to manage its membership database online and offer members-only content, so that was an added challenge.
A portion of the previous website’s content was transferred over to the new site, and an already existing blog was also folded into the site. The entire project was put in WordPress. To handle the membership database, a program called aMember was installed and hooked up to the WordPress site. aMember allowed the officers to quickly view their membership database, see who needed to renew, send out reminders to renew and see who had expired membership. It also allowed members to pay for their subscriptions online. Lastly, because aMember and WordPress were made to talk to each other, it was easy to integrate members-only content into the Imagery International website (a login is required to read certain pages).
A calendar and photo gallery were also implemented into the website.
Overall, the organization was pleased with the site, and especially liked that it was easier to update pages and information than it had been previously.
